This book is one of the "Translation Series of Masterpieces on the Study of Political Parties in the World". The Translator plans to launch a number of classics and authoritative research results on the world's major political parties and party politics, in order to showcase the systems, practices and development trends of the major political parties in the world today, promote academic research on domestic and world party politics, serve our party in inter-party exchanges and cooperation, and serve as a political mirror for us to further look at world political parties, understand contemporary politics, enhance the "four self-confidences", and strengthen governance capacity building. This book draws conclusions through inferential analysis by critically introducing research methods such as realism and the "interest group" model into political analysis. This book has had an important influence on the teaching of political science in the world so far. It is a research work on American political science in the 1960s. It covers various materials that are usually involved in teaching materials designed for political party courses. This book discusses pressure groups extensively. The first part mainly analyzes the stronger pressure groups. Each chapter focuses on an important interest or interest group in American political life, such as geographic regions, labor, business, agriculture, nationalist groups, and administrative agencies. Parts II and III include common content related to political parties and elections. These two parts explore the age-old issues of the function of political parties, minor parties, party organization, nominations, electoral conduct, suffrage, and methods of campaigning. In the fourth part, several issues that are secondary to political parties are discussed, such as education.
