After Becoming the Villainous Demon Venerable, I Was Spirited Away by a Cannon-Fodder Immortal Venerable

Mo Bai never imagined he'd end up as the villainous Demon Venerable in a book. Every day, he had to complete tasks. One day, he discovered that his roommate was his teammate for the missions, and immediately gave up trying, spending every day practically glued to him. Then, one day, he accidentally wandered into the little dark room and got a taste of what went on there. After that, he didn't dare do anything too over the top. The Immortal Venerable, however, wasn't satisfied. He buried his face in the crook of Mo Bai's neck and demanded to know why.

Mo Bai: “Because I've got a steady meal ticket now. I'm so happy!”

Immortal Venerable: “...”

Eventually, the Immortal Venerable started hoping every day that the person cooped up in the room would go outside for a walk instead of making himself sick from staying in.
