Everlasting Joy

The eldest princess, sulking over her unrequited love, impulsively chose me as her husband.

Three years after our wedding, she reunited with the man she had always loved.

They cuddled and flirted openly in the princess's residence, paying no mind to anyone around them.

She took his side and let him beat me savagely.

She even drank an abortion potion right in front of me, ending our child's life.

I handed her the divorce papers, but she asked me with tearful eyes whether I had ever loved her.

I caressed her features and answered earnestly, “Never.”
