[Rebellious and strong-willed, devoted singer bottom VS star-heir top with multiple secret identities who disappears without a trace and suffers backlash from magic]
Eddie is a hugely popular singer. He's been hiring private detectives to search for Chen Xuanwu.
He never expected Chen Xuanwu to appear by his side under different identities.
Eddie can't understand why Chen Xuanwu keeps disappearing or why he won't accept his confession.
Years later, Eddie is shocked to discover that Chen Xuanwu, still in his twenties, has aged into a man in his fifties.
When he can no longer keep it a secret, Chen Xuanwu reveals that the magic book has been draining his life since birth, and he doesn't have long to live.
It turns out Chen Xuanwu loves Eddie too. He fell in love with him at first sight when they met in high school.
But Chen Xuanwu believes his hideous appearance makes him unworthy of Eddie. And with the magic backlash set to kill him soon, he doesn't dare promise to love Eddie for the rest of his life.
Chen Xuanwu accepts that this is simply his fate, but Eddie refuses to give up. He'll do whatever it takes to save Chen Xuanwu.
But how could Chen Xuanwu's parents, who have enjoyed more than twenty years of luxury by draining their son's life force, willingly give up the magic book that brings them success with barely any effort?
Eddie's path to saving Chen Xuanwu is fraught with obstacles.
