FB: Love at First Sight

[Everyday-life focus, pairing: Newt Scamander, OOC, slice of life. The heroine is mentally ill and not a good person; she gets more of the story later on.] [Newt's version] On Newt's first day in New York, he fell in love at first sight with a woman. On his second day in New York, he took a day trip to a pool of Death Potion. On his third day in New York, he nearly destroyed half the city. Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, said that the few short days he spent in New York had left him with memories he would never forget. [Lilan's version] It was an ordinary day, no different from any other. Yet that day, she met the one she loved most. Following in his footsteps, she helped uncover the truth hidden beneath a black veil. Along the way, she lost love, then found it again. Thankfully, he was always by her side… When their heads were white with frost and the marks of time covered their faces, he spoke in a voice no longer young of the thrill he had felt at their first meeting: “The day we first met, I think I fell in love with you at first sight.” What I really wanted to say was: I fell in love with you at first sight, too.
