[Apocalyptic Zombies] [Gore] [Not a Wish-Fulfillment Story] [Multiple Perspectives] [Multiple Protagonists] [Lots of Foreshadowing] [Twisty Plot]
In an age of advanced technology and modern weaponry, how could there ever be a large-scale zombie outbreak?
But what if you were confronted by a life-form far beyond humanity, while also facing a zombie outbreak and monster attacks? How would humanity cope?
Contains graphic, bloody scenes [I personally think they're pretty average]. If you can't stomach seeing the protagonist get put through the wringer, feel free to leave. But this isn't just suffering for suffering's sake.
In a sense, it tells the story of facing the apocalypse. Not everyone gets cheat powers right from the start, even in a sci-fi world.
The point is, how can the protagonist grow without hardship? Without experiencing pain, how can the protagonist make sound judgments in different situations?
The plot will kill off many characters with backstories, including people whose deaths will drive the story forward.
The main question is: why should extras always have to die? Why should the protagonist's group always get to fight the villains for three hundred rounds?
In the face of overwhelming strength, losing is losing. It's like someone who could casually crush you with their bare hands ten years ago. Why would you think you could beat them now, ten years later?
One last thing.
This is not a wish-fulfillment story! This is not a wish-fulfillment story! This is not a wish-fulfillment story! [Probably]
Important things need to be said three times.
