The Dao De Jing says, “When everyone knows beauty as beauty, ugliness arises; when everyone knows goodness as goodness, evil arises.” In today’s materialistic society, chasing money above all else seems to have become the trend. I was caught up in it too, unable to break free, step by step heading for the abyss. My wife’s infidelity and my family’s poverty led to a tragic life in my previous life. In the end, I committed a terrible crime, could not escape the law, and died full of regret in the northwest. But Heaven took pity on me and gave me the chance to be reborn with a mission to fulfill. Taking my previous life as a warning, I made full use of the advantage of remembering it and achieved greatness in this life, eventually becoming a wicked capitalist myself. After that, I let all things flourish without interfering, gave life without claiming ownership, acted without relying on my achievements, and accomplished great things without taking credit. Because I did not cling to my achievements, they endured. In the end, I used the good and evil within myself as a guide to rewrite the world’s true goodness and beauty.
