The People’s Official of Jin Jiawan

(Adapted to commemorate the lives of my parents, who passed away many years ago.) His father was a village official in the 1950s. Throughout his life, he endured hardship and hunger, lost the person he loved most, and suffered the emotional torment of being loved by several women. He struggled through one ordeal after another, gave everything he had to the villagers, and endured the hardships of raising children. Though they were ordinary people, they lived extraordinary lives!
