Mistakenly Transported to the Republic of China as a Young Master

Beneath a rickety old footbridge, a ragged young man was fast asleep, looking utterly carefree.

Suddenly, a gale swept in. Before him stood an old man with a graying beard, a horsetail whisk in his right hand, muttering, “Long Xiao, Long Xiao! Come with me at once. Go fulfill the wish you never managed to fulfill in your previous life.” The young man kept his eyes shut and mumbled along with him.

Then the old man heard him say, “Lulu, don't go! Don't go!...”

In an instant, thick green smoke shot into the sky, and the old man vanished along with it.

The scene before him seemed to shift to another era. The young man was now wearing the gray long gown and coat of a wealthy young master from Republican-era China. All around him were towering mountains and winding roads. From nearby came cries of, “Young master! Young master...!”
