Villain: I Keep Offering Poisonous Schemes, and the Empress Begs Me to Calm Down

[No System, pure villain, decisive and ruthless, revenge means killing without delay and wiping out entire clans, not a brainless fast-paced power fantasy, steady progression and behind-the-scenes scheming] Song Wennuan, courtesy name Wenhe, idolizes Jia Xu, Sima Yi, and He Shen. Known as the Virtue-Deficient Hermit, he's a rotten scoundrel who has mastered clan-wide annihilation and all kinds of schemes that leave people without heirs! After transmigrating into a martial arts world as a cannon-fodder foot soldier, he promptly joins a female general and becomes her strategist. What do you do when an outbreak hits the army from the start? Hurl the corpses of your own infected soldiers over with a catapult. No one's getting out alive! Everyone dies! Song Wennuan: “I have a plan to pacify the realm!” Empress: “Minister, your methods... I'm afraid there won't be many households left once you've pacified the realm.” Song Wennuan: “That's not for you to worry about. Just tell me, did I pacify it or not?” Empress: “Your schemes defy the natural order!” Song Wennuan: “Doesn't matter, as long as they don't harm Wenhe!” Empress: “Minister, you can't possibly...” Song Wennuan: “Your Majesty, one moment. Allow me to get a word in!” Empress: “Mmm...” Behind each and every one of these sinister schemes, is it a distortion of human nature or a collapse of morality? Actually, it's just Song Wennuan's everyday life. Basic stuff, nothing to get worked up about! Empress: “Until our side faces the threat of annihilation, we promise not to be the first to use Strategist Song Wennuan's plans!” Satan: “Just look at this mysterious Oriental man. I need to get him tattooed on my back, but not with his eyes open, or I won't be able to carry him!” As for right and wrong? From the moment I entered that tent all those years ago, my life, Song Wennuan's, was no longer about right and wrong, only life and death! P.S. This is a long story about the protagonist rising from the lowliest of the low to claim the throne. The pacing is on the slow side, but it's not padding. I kindly ask for your understanding!
