My name is Chen Fei, and I was born dead.
That means my mother had already stopped breathing before she gave birth to me, yet I came out kicking and screaming. The villagers saw me as a harbinger of bad luck, an ungrateful wretch. Only my great-grandmother protected me, raising me to adulthood in safety. Then, when I was seventeen, Ox-Head and Horse-Face dragged her down to the underworld to be reincarnated.
After that, I followed my second uncle to the city.
With my divine eyes, I can read the five energies, seize the blessings of creation, and turn yin and yang on their heads!
