We Agreed to Start a Rebellion Together, So Why Did You Marry the Empress?

Su Zichen accidentally transmigrates to the Great Zhou Dynasty, where he becomes the leader of the rebel Yilin Army and gains a beautiful wife.

What Su Zichen doesn't know is that his wife is none other than the current Empress, Xia Qingyun. And Xia Qingyun has no idea that the husband she shares a bed with every night is the rebel leader she's been yearning to kill.

Unbeknownst to them, Su Zichen inadvertently teaches his wife how to establish the imperial examinations, reform the tax system, curb the vassal kings, and repel foreign threats. Little by little, the Great Zhou grows more prosperous than ever.

How are they supposed to stage a rebellion now?
