The Rose That Stole My Heart

A gentle, charming heiress versus a cold-hearted tycoon

(The heroine is gentle and good-natured, though sometimes she overthinks things and sometimes she cries. The hero is wonderful and dotes on her.)

Mu Nanyan is the pampered heiress of the Mu family. She has a face of breathtaking beauty, and her graceful, curvaceous figure makes her utterly alluring.

Lu Tingxiao is a reclusive powerhouse, the rarest kind of man the Lu family has seen in a century. Everyone in Nancheng knows that the Lu family's eldest son avoids women and has a serious aversion to dirt. He is cold and ruthless in business, acting swiftly and decisively, and he has never failed at anything he has taken on.

Mu Nanyan and Lu Tingxiao first meet at a party. The moment Mu Nanyan walks in, she draws everyone's attention. When Lu Tingxiao sees the Mu family's young heiress in a red gown, her graceful figure and poised bearing make her seem like a goddess among mortals.

They meet for the second time while on their way back from completing a business deal. He saves her, and as he gazes at her rosy lips and dazzling beauty, his Adam's apple bobs. From that moment on, he can't get enough of her. One day, when he sees someone confessing their feelings to Mu Nanyan, Lu Tingxiao can no longer hold back. He pins her against the wall. Looking at the frenzied Lu Tingxiao, Mu Nanyan presses both hands to his chest and says, “Calm down, Mr. Lu.”

But Lu Tingxiao only smiles, stroking Nanyan's cheek as he asks, “Nanyan, have you ever felt even the slightest bit of affection for me?”
