Siheyuan: Saving Qin Huairu

After unexpectedly transmigrating into a courtyard compound, Yang Ye encounters Qin Huairu selling herself to pay for her father’s funeral. He wants to save her with a hundred yuan, but his pockets are too empty, so he gives up.

But Qin Huairu won’t take no for an answer and chases after Yang Ye relentlessly.

Meanwhile, Jia Dongxu has his eye on Qin Huairu and wants to court her.

He Yuzhu is also frantically looking for a match. He sets his sights on Yang Ye’s older sister, but he’s interested in Qin Huairu too, hoping to have it both ways.

Selfish Xu Damao resorts to lies and deceit, plotting to seize Yang Ye’s family property.

The Deaf Granny wants someone to support her in her old age, so she sets her sights on Yang Ye as well.

The First Master, Yi Zhonghai, goes all out to help Jia Dongxu, making plans for his own retirement.

The power-hungry Second Master, Liu Haizhong, stirs up trouble at the steel mill.

The miserly Third Master, Yan Bugui, is always trying to squeeze some benefit out of the courtyard.

And then there’s the foul-mouthed shrew Jia Zhangshi, always cursing and complaining.

Yang Ye won’t indulge any of these beasts. With his proficiency System, his life keeps getting better, and he’s ready to play their schemes right back at them.
