In Konoha, I Changed Other People's Fates

“Wow! You're so pretty. Will you be my girlfriend? My dad is the Third Hokage, so you could be with me...”

“Hello, my name is Minato Namikaze.”

“If anyone bullies you, just tell them my name. I'm Kushina Uzumaki!”

“Are you my teammate? What the heck, why is it a girl? Never mind. From now on, stay behind me. I'll face everything!”

The protagonist finds himself in Konoha as one of Orochimaru's students, with Senju Nawaki as his teammate. But to his surprise, changing someone else's fate, or even influencing it directly or indirectly, earns him rewards of varying degrees.

Will those whose fates have been influenced or changed still follow the paths they once did?

For instance, Orochimaru witnessed his parents' deaths and his student Nawaki's death on the battlefield. Those losses were what made him yearn for eternal life and seek a forbidden jutsu that could make people immortal.

But if his student Nawaki doesn't die, will Orochimaru still follow the same path?

Or consider Tsunade, who learned that both her younger brother and her beloved had died in the war. She developed hemophobia and left Konoha. How would she turn out in a Konoha where neither of them had been lost?

And then there's Jiraiya, whose fate is perhaps the most tragic of all. He spent his life searching for the child of prophecy. What if the world no longer needed the prophesied child?
