This book is based on my real experiences.
I’ve expanded and embellished them a little.
There were two girls I failed to seize my chance with back then.
I’d originally planned to give them happy endings in the book,
but by the time I finished writing,
I decided it was better to leave things bittersweet.
When I’m old and look back on it,
I’ll still be able to smile knowingly.
