Research on the Spread and Influence of Western Marxism in China (Marxist Theoretical Research and Contemporary Chinese Books Series)

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Western Marxism was introduced into China and had a wide-ranging influence in China. Decades of history have shown that we can and should obtain theoretical resources for the Sinicization of Marxism from contemporary foreign Marxist trends of thought, especially Western Marxist trends of thought. The contemporary foreign Marxist ideological trends, especially the spread of Western Marxist academic viewpoints in China's academic and ideological circles, are not separate from the advancement of the Sinicization theory of Marxism and the development of Marxism in China. Looking at Western Marxist theory, its main content is the study of Marxism, capitalism, socialism and communism, and its impact on China is mainly reflected in the study of three aspects. Based on a brief discussion of the impact of the three main stages of the spread of Western Marxism in China, this book focuses on studying the spread and impact of these three aspects of Western Marxist theory in China. This book also tracks and studies the new reflections of Western Marxism around the three theories of Marxism, capitalism, socialism and communism after experiencing the 2008 international financial crisis, especially the COVID-19 epidemic, and analyzes its latest theoretical achievements.
