The content of this book is very interesting! It told historical stories vividly and interestingly, and gave me a deeper understanding of the rise and fall of hegemony in the late Spring and Autumn Period. I especially like the interpretation of the Wu-Yue War in the book. The story of King Goujian of Yue is very inspiring, but his methods are indeed embarrassing. The author's views are unique and his analysis is thorough, which gave me a new understanding of the wars of that era. All in all, this is a great book worth reading!
