Siheyuan: I Do What Dorgon Did, but I Don't Claim the Title

“If you're still doing badly at thirty, society must be to blame.”

Before the catastrophe, this was He Yuzhu's motto, so he decided to lie flat.

Lying flat let him survive a few months longer than everyone else during the catastrophe.

Just before he died, the System gave him a chance to start over. With the System's help, He Yuzhu transmigrates into the plot of Love in the Courtyard and becomes Silly Zhu, whose name sounds just like his own: He Yuzhu.

He Yuzhu knows his good days are about to begin.

Having read the entire Siheyuan story before the catastrophe, he believes all Silly Zhu needs to do to live well is stay away from Qin Huairu's family, save plenty of money, and buy plenty of houses. Then he can become a carefree old Beijinger.

But fate has other plans. As soon as he transmigrates, the crafty Qin Huairu slips into his bed ahead of time.

Then Lou Xiao'e, Qin Jingru, Teacher Ran, Yu Haitang, and one female character after another from the story cross paths with him. The little old man He Yuzhu, who believes that “when you transmigrate, you have to keep your head down if you want to live longer,” strays further and further down the wrong path...

He turns Love in the Courtyard into Love Affairs in the Courtyard, and only then does He Yuzhu realize that whether you're doing well or badly also depends on what you have down below...
