Minister of Love

The Heavenly Venerable's Spirit Pool beyond the Nine Provinces, the four-eyed evil dragon in the land of Beiming, the deadly snow-capped mountains of Wujiang, the Hundred-Flower Poison Array in the vast western seas, and the phantom phoenix in the Realm of Illusions. Young Lord Sang Li defies the heavens to save that little immortal, unaware that everything has been arranged by the Heavenly Venerable.

Later, Sang Li becomes the Demon Venerable. In the Hall of Ten Thousand Demons, Sang Li reaches out to Jiu Jiao. “I've been waiting for you, my Demon Queen.”

(This is an original fantasy romance told primarily from the heroine's perspective. The hero has fewer scenes early on, but his role grows as the heroine's feelings change. There are many couples, and their stories gradually take shape, one by one, through the heroine's perspective.)
