[Cool and Aloof Male Lead + One Female Lead + Passionate Leveling + Decisive and Ruthless + Teacher-Disciple Bond]
Daoist Xianhe, Wang Juxian, is schemed against by his wicked disciples from the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths just as he is about to break through, leaving his soul severely wounded. His soul is forcibly split in two: one half is used to resist the backlash of the Great Dao, while the other hides away, reborn to bide its time and seek revenge.
The half of his soul resisting the backlash of the Great Dao ultimately vanishes without a trace. The hidden half is reborn in a modern city in the Age of Declining Dharma.
In this era, specialized arts reign supreme. The Heavenly Dao abhors perfection, and the human way abhors excess. For mortals, cultivating immortality is harder than reaching the heavens. Watch how Wang Juxian rises against the odds and makes the petty villains who framed, slandered, and harmed him regret it for the rest of their lives.
