Chen Xuanzhang, an ordinary city dweller, gets drunk and transmigrates to the world of Journey to the West, where he becomes the story’s protagonist, Tang Sanzang. After unexpectedly binding himself to the Journey to the West System, he sets out on the pilgrimage west.
Gradually, the powerful figures of every realm realize that something is wrong. Why is the Buddhist faith’s fortune weakening the farther Tang Sanzang travels west?
