My Hometown Leads to the Underworld: A Love Across Life and Death

Night falls, and everything begins with a poem in an ancient, shadowy alley:

No one walks the Netherworld Road,

The cycle of life and death, a dream still untold.

Mists gather where yin and yang divide,

No one knows where the souls will reside.

Lost and bewildered, the heart grows cold,

A chill breeze brushes past, tears turn to ice.

Zhang Yang and Xiao Ling's ancestors were all born in Huai Tree Town, on Talisman Paper Alley, and their grandfathers were bound by an ancient master-disciple relationship.

But by their generation, they had all gone their separate ways.

Then one day, Zhang Yang and Xiao Ling were inexplicably brought together by fate.

Down on his luck, and taking Xiao Ling's advice, Zhang Yang went with her to the eerie old family home in their hometown, where they entered the Netherworld.

There, they met many interesting companions. Sadly, fate had other plans: the companions loved and fought each other in equal measure.

Zhang Yang and Xiao Ling even encountered an indescribable terror.

From then on, the living and the dead were separated by the Yellow Springs, while the lovers wandered between life and death.

One strange ballad after another ties together the mysteries of two worlds.

The magnificent and uncanny Netherworld will unfold before you!
