A Study on the Political Thought of Sima Clan and the Scholars of Etiquette and Law During the Wei and Jin Dynasties

The political thoughts of the Sima family and the etiquette scholars of the Wei and Jin Dynasties had a profound influence on the official Confucianism of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, but few people paid attention to it in the study of ancient Chinese intellectual history. This book systematically analyzes the political thoughts of this interest group from three levels: ideological concepts, system construction, and political struggles. It points out that Confucianism, which is a mixture of Taoism and Legalism, dominates their ideological characteristics in political practice, thereby more comprehensively revealing the theoretical characteristics, evolution process, and historical significance of official Confucianism in this period.
