History of Dawu in Lushun (1880-1955)

"History of Lushun Dayu" is a history book compiled by the Navy No. 4810 Factory, an old military enterprise with a history of more than 130 years, that comprehensively reflects its historical evolution and development and changes. With a rigorous attitude and rich historical materials, it truly and comprehensively summarizes the laws and experiences and lessons of the creation and development of Dayu. It is of great significance and value for Dayu's future development to a higher level. This work describes in detail the glorious achievements of the people of Dawu in chronological order. In the past turbulent years, the people of Dayu thought about their homeland and carried out arduous struggles. They worked hard to repair warships injured in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1894, carried out anti-Russian strikes that shocked China and the world, and various forms of struggles against the Japanese invaders. After returning to the embrace of the motherland, Dayu people kept in mind the historical mission of serving the construction of naval equipment and burst out with endless ingenuity and great energy: from small ship repair to large ship repair and modification, from ship construction to batch construction of warships, from special ship construction to foreign aid ship construction, from the Liaodong Peninsula exercise to the successful underwater launch of missiles, from the Antarctic expedition to the "Shenzhou VI" ascension, from the Gulf of Aden escort to the "Zheng He" ship's circumnavigation of Zheng He's route, and so on. All of these are soaked in the hard work and sweat of Dawu people, demonstrating the innocence of Dawu people for the motherland.
