Ditian, originally named Ye Yi, lived in an ordinary world. In this age of advanced technology, the internet wore him down, and working late nights so often threw his endocrine system into disarray. At the age of twenty, he met an untimely end in the twenty-first century.
But that was only the beginning. Ye Yi transmigrated into the world of the Investiture of the Gods and acquired a new name: Ditian.
He was the adopted son of a dynasty’s king.
Thinking the world he lived in was simply an ancient era, he was eager to put everything he had seen and learned in the twentieth century to use and drive development.
To avoid getting caught up in a struggle over the throne, Ditian chose to leave the dynasty and become a marquis in a small town on the northern frontier.
But just when he thought he could live out his days in peace, an unseen war began. The phoenix cried over Xiqi, the Jie Sect fell into decline, and the Chan Sect emerged victorious. The tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods entered its final stage, and the Xiqi army marched on Chaoge with unstoppable momentum.
Di Xin, Ditian’s cousin, was dead!
