Infinite Notes

A portrait of a girl appeared in a notebook student Xiaozhou had bought from a secondhand stall, causing an uproar in the class and a misunderstanding with his classmate Lu Qing. Then more strange phenomena began appearing in the notebook, and the two rushed to a university for help. Professor Liu filmed the notebook throughout the night and examined it from every angle. He discovered that its particles were making multidimensional jumps, and that it had belonged to Professor Radchenko, who came from Chernobyl. His daughter, Liu Qin, had died on the night of the nuclear disaster. Xiaozhou, Lu Qing, and the others flew to Ukraine and visited Radchenko’s home. The notebook’s string vibrations were exceptionally strong there, and they managed to make contact with another Liu Qin who had escaped successfully from a parallel world. Just then, several local thugs burst in and stole the notebook. But it suddenly caught fire with an eerie green glow, and the terrified thieves dropped it. As it turned out, Lu Qing had strengthened her intent as she drew on the notebook’s torn pages, sending a message to Liu Qin and prompting her to use phosphorous flames to create the illusion of ghost fire.
