Two Male Protagonists + Criminal Investigation + Two Strong Men + He + Multiple Cps
I would like to read a book similar to "Mystery: Chasing the Light". Two male protagonists solve the case, the case is exciting, the emotional line is rich, and there are many CPs

The plot of this book is full of ups and downs, suspense and surprises, which kept me highly nervous and curious while reading. And the character of Vance is really charming. His meticulous observation and inquisitive spirit remind me of Sherlock Holmes in "The Sherlock Holmes". Just like Sherlock Holmes said: "When all other possibilities are eliminated and there is one left, no matter how impossible it is, it is the truth." I think Vance is the same, not letting go of any detail, and finally found the truth. This book is worth reading and is recommended to friends who like suspense reasoning.
Reading Van Dyne's work for the first time. I was surprised that the writing style is very concise, and the case is directly put in front of me at the beginning without any sloppiness. From the perspective of the case itself, it is relatively simple.
"In real life, nothing happens in a fixed and consistent way with all the details. The law of chance and inevitable mistakes will always happen."
"The Canary Murder Case", published in 1927. A well-organized novel, a masterpiece of highly intelligent crimes.
Like the cynical, art-loving Philo Vance
Vance's classic plot [playing poker to find the murderer] appeared. The discovery of the final evidence was really accidental, but very dramatic.
The details are meticulously written and exciting. Good book.
