Collection of Qing Poetry

"Three Kingdoms" was written by Chen Shou of the Western Jin Dynasty. It records the history of the Three Kingdoms era in China. It is also one of the "first four histories" with the highest evaluation among the Twenty-Four Histories. Chen Shou spent the first half of his life in the Shu Han Dynasty. After becoming an official, he was squeezed out by the eunuch Huang Hao and failed. After the fall of the Shu Han Dynasty, Chen Shou successively served as a writer. He was demoted many times in his later years and was criticized many times. After ten years of hard work, he finally completed this masterpiece of biographical history. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms was first circulated separately in three books: "Wei Zhi", "Shu Zhi" and "Wu Zhi". It was not until the sixth year of Xianping in the Northern Song Dynasty (1003) that the three books were combined into one book. In addition, Chen Shou showed interest in the characters in the book. He said that Cao Cao is a transcendent hero, Liu Bei is a hero, Sun Ce and Sun Quan are heroes, Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, and Lu Su are wizards, Pang Tong, Cheng Yu, Guo Jia, and Dong Zhao are wizards, and Dong He and Liu Ba are magistrates. He Qia and Chang Lin are beautiful men, Xu Miao and Hu Zhi are officials, Wang Can and Qin Mi are talented men, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Cheng Pu, Huang Gai are tiger ministers, Chen Zhen, Dong Yun and Xue Zong are good ministers, Zhang Liao and Le Jin are good generals.
