Synopsis

"Huang Ming Ancestors" is a Ming Dynasty classic compiled under the leadership of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. The content is the instruction given to Zhu Ming's descendants in order to consolidate his imperial power. The original name was "The Records of Ancestors" and it was first compiled in the second year of Hongwu (1369). It was completed in six years and revised in the ninth year.
