The book "Book of Rites" is really interesting! It is like a wise old man telling the etiquette in concise and profound language. I especially liked the section on relationships and social norms, which taught me the importance of respect and humility. This reminds me of the Analects. They are both Confucian classics that emphasize moral and behavioral norms. Moreover, the book mentions that "parrots can speak and are inseparable from birds; orangutans can speak and are inseparable from animals." This reminds me of some people in real life. Although they have the ability to speak, if they don't have courtesy and morality, wouldn't they be just like animals? Therefore, this book not only allows us to understand ancient culture, but also inspires us to think about life. Highly recommended to friends who are interested in traditional culture!
