In the Ming Dynasty, three novels from Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism were compiled respectively, "The Records of Mr. Wang Yangming's Origin in Jingluan, the Great Confucian of the Imperial Ming Dynasty", "The Revealed Saints of Jidian Luohan in Jingci Temple" and "The Story of Xu Zhenjun Killing the Jiao in Jingyang Palace" to reflect the idea of the unity of the three religions. This book is very interesting. It compiles three novels and embodies the idea of the unity of the three religions. The book mentions that "Shun was beaten and played the harp, which showed his purpose of being pure and inactive. Yu's hands and feet were callous, which showed his compassion and benevolence." I like this sentence very much.
