Translation and Annotation of Zhou Bi Suan Jing

"Zhou Bi Suan Jing" is the earliest arithmetic classic in Chinese history. The circumference is the circle, and the thigh is the crotch. It records the conversation between Zhou Gong and Shang Gao. Among them is the earliest written record of the Pythagorean theorem, which is "three strands, four strings and five", also known as Shang Gao's theorem. The book uses the simplest and most feasible method to determine the astronomical calendar, reveals the movement patterns of the sun, moon and stars, including the changes in the four seasons, climate changes, including the north and south poles, and the theory of day and night, providing a strong guarantee for the daily life of those who come after. Since then, mathematicians of all generations have used "Zhou Bi Suan Jing" as a reference and continued to innovate and develop on this basis. "Zhou Bi Suan Jing" embodies the diligence and wisdom of the Chinese people, and can be regarded as an immortal monument of ancient science and technology in the world. In this compilation, in addition to collating the original text, detailed annotations will be made on the calculation examples in the book. This is also the first time that the book has been fully annotated and fully translated.
