"Zuo Zhuan" is the earliest extant chronicle in my country with detailed chronology. It is also an outstanding literary work and has a huge influence on later generations of prose and linguistics.

Just like "Historical Records", they are both classics of historical literature. The content in the book is detailed, and the annotations and vernacular translations are also in place, making it easy to understand. Moreover, I especially like Confucius mentioned in the book. His purpose in writing "Spring and Autumn" was to dissuade evil and promote good. This spirit is admirable. I hate the evil characters though, what they do is really infuriating. This book is well worth reading and will give us a better understanding of ancient history and culture.
