The adventures of Zhao Yunke's life in Hangzhou during the reign of Emperor Yuan Shun. Yun Ke was a romantic and talented man who visited the West Lake one day. He admired Miss Yuhuan, the daughter of Wang Qingshen, and pursued her to Hangzhou. He first made a lifelong promise to Sister Sun Hui, the daughter of a restaurant, and then sold herself to the palace as a servant. When she met Miss Yuhuan and her companion Wu Jiangying, they met during the Mid-Autumn Festival and agreed to an alliance. Hou Yunke was framed and imprisoned, but fortunately he was rescued by prison officer Qin Cheng Shuaicai. Qin Chengshu's daughter Qin Suqing Aiyun's guests are both talented and elegant, and each has his own love. Yunke went to Beijing to take the exam, and won the first prize. He was also chosen by Princess Jituo, the daughter of the North Korean servant, and the emperor issued a decree to get married. After Yunke married Princess Jituo, he brought him back to Yangzhou, married Miss Yuhuan, and became his wife. He also took in Qin Suqing, Wu Jiangyun, and Sun Huiniang, and the five beauties returned together. Yunke builds a five-flower building and enjoys himself all day long.
Reader comments
I especially like the description of emotions in the book, which is very real and makes people feel the same. Moreover, the actions and choices of the characters are very reasonable, allowing me to understand their hearts better. For example, Yuhuan's deep affection, Ji Tiao's obedience, Suqing's chivalry and Jiangying's integrity all impressed me deeply. Overall, this is a very in-depth book and worth reading.
It's good-looking. The male protagonist is too perfect and has five beauties as wives.
Not bad, not as stiff as the introduction before the text. Qing people's novels are mixed with narratives and discussions, and there are many comments on them, so I just take them lightly. It is also a pleasure to have beautiful flowers and a full moon together with the five beauties to achieve the right fruit.
