Four volumes and thirty-two chapters.
Titled "Hill Mountain layman's edition".
It was written during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.
"Ping Jinchuan" tells the story of Nian Gengyao (called Nian Gengyao in the book) and Yue Zhongqi pacifying Luobu Zangdanjin in Qinghai. The content structure is similar to fantasy novels such as "The Romance of the Gods", and has a certain science fiction color.

This book "The Complete Biography of Ping Jinchuan" is very interesting! The author Zhang Xiaoshan is said to be from Liaodong. His grandfather also served in the army. He wrote many magical spells in the book. I feel like the author knows that history very well! Moreover, this book has both real history and fantasy elements. It is like a combination of "Three Kingdoms" and "Journey to the West", which is very unique. I particularly like the characters in it, but it's a pity that the author was too busy and didn't have time to revise it properly. But it's still worth watching and I recommend it to you!
