In this boring world, something interesting is bound to happen.
Both prophecies will come true.
The first prophecy: he created the “Horror Game.”
The second prophecy descended upon them: the Devil’s Child would devour everyone. Looking at the gray-haired young man beside him, he once wondered, “What would happen to this world if I corrupted its savior?”
Just as he had the other completely under his thumb, someone he never expected shattered his meticulous plan.
Furious beyond words, he relentlessly tested this “self” from another dimension.
His tests, each laced with murderous intent and malicious suspicion, were all mistaken by the other man for flirtation. Whenever they met, a battle of words was inevitable.
Gradually, he grew used to having the other man by his side, and realized his heart was increasingly taking the other’s side.
Always putting his own interests first, he made an unprecedented choice during that mission: he gave up the course of action most beneficial to himself and went to save him.
Only then did he realize that a place in his heart had been filled, marked by the other man.
Note: “Narcissism” here means meeting another version of yourself from a different world in the same dimension.
The characters of Quinnis and Quinpei are very interesting, but I don't know what the character of Quince is used for.
