I transmigrated to the early Northern Song dynasty and became the grandson of Shi Jingtang, the Later Jin emperor whose country was conquered by the Song. They say the Great Song belongs to the scholar-officials, and joining their ranks is the path to a comfortable life.
But people like me are born with an original sin. Becoming a scholar-official is clearly out of the question. If I want a good life, I'll have to make the rules myself.
