Selected Master's Thesis in Sociology from Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China (2018-2021)

This collection contains a total of 8 papers, selected from 154 master's theses from the sociology departments of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Renmin University in 2018. These eight papers have diverse themes and perspectives, including grand issues such as basic education, family planning policy, food security, and population urbanization, as well as micro perspectives on belief practices and body construction in daily life, and also involve historical changes in national finance and ethnic market towns. In my opinion, they all have sensitive problem awareness and necessary theoretical ambitions, and vividly reflect the words of Mr. Shen Yuan, one of the founders of the "Collection of Essays from the Three Schools": "In the face of real problems in Chinese society, start a constructive dialogue with the cutting-edge theories of Western sociology."
