Synopsis

"Liao Fan's Four Instructions" was written by Yuan Huang in the Ming Dynasty, whose courtesy name was Kunyi, and later changed his name to Fan. He was sixty-nine years old. He wrote it as a family instruction to his son. It is a famous book of persuasion in China. It was originally intended to teach his own son, so he named it "Xun Ziwen". Later, he changed his name to enlighten the world. The origin of the book: The author met a fortune teller named Kong from Yunnan before taking the imperial examination. At the age of 37, I met Zen Master Yungu. Through Zen Master Yungu, he taught me how to accumulate virtue and do good deeds. He taught me the Zhunti Mantra, trained my pure mind and compassion, and explained how I could control my destiny and that my destiny could be changed, so I called myself mortal. From then on, he actively helped others, changed his ways, and corrected his ideas. Not only did he not die at the age of 53, but he also gave birth to two sons. At the age of 69, he wrote the "Four Lessons from the Moral" and lived until the age of 74. "Liao Fan's Four Instructions" is exactly the family instruction that Yuan Liaofan wants to give his son.
