"Ba Duan Jin" is a collection of novels written in the late Ming Dynasty. It contains eight stories and eight admonitions, which are marked in the bibliography: "punish greed", "prevent fear of guilt", "gamble on wives", "behave with others", "warn against marrying", "regret alcoholism", "stop promiscuous talk" and "keep a widow". These eight stories are actually just four commandments: abstain from lust, stop gambling, stop addicted to alcohol and stop promiscuous talk.

The stories in this book are very educational! For example, the first story tells us not to be greedy and to control our desires, otherwise we will get sick like Yunfa in the book. Moreover, the author conveys these truths through stories, making it easy to read and accept. I think this book is very suitable for sharing with friends and discussing the stories and lessons in the book.
