Imagine a timeline where the Iron Blood won the World War, plunging the world into unprecedented darkness. The divergence began in 1920, when Bukharin won the power struggle in the Northern Parliament. He carried out a series of reforms, all of which failed, leaving the nation corrupt and paralyzed. The Iron Blood then swept through the Northern Parliament and crushed it. Germany successfully turned Ireland to its side and sent landing forces to the British Isles. Before long, the Royal Navy had fallen. At the same time, Eagle Union suffered a string of defeats in the Pacific, losing control of the ocean. The postwar world settled into a Cold War between the Iron Blood, Eagle Union, and Sakura Empire. And that is where our story begins.

The new generation and the ghosts of the old age become entangled. Amid the smoke of the new order's Cold War, every life walking toward death flourishes with fierce vitality... From dusty, dangerous battlefields to glittering halls of power, from corridors that embody authority to bedrooms tangled with love and hate, the fates of ordinary people from eight nations, so different yet so inextricably entwined, gradually unfold. In sweeping fashion, the story depicts a twentieth century I thought I understood, but had never felt so vividly before.
