Now, however, he finds himself lost in a realm rich in extraordinary essence, something that had once been scarce. Does he really want to return to his old world? If all goes well, plagiarizing, ahem, learning new spell structures by observing the local mages should be fun. Of course, he will face new dangers in this strange world, but no danger is beyond the reach of a fancy spell.
Though he may be baffled by the local mages' approach to "cultivation" and their lack of appreciation for the finer points of essence manipulation, he comes to realize that perhaps both their arts conceal depths neither side has fully grasped.
