Heroes Are as Plentiful as Carp Crossing the River, So I Turn to the Demonic Path

I was the greatest genius in our town, dazzling and peerless. I thought my bright future had just begun, but then a national competition sent me crashing down. It turned out that the world was full of geniuses like me. When someone like me met a true genius, I was like a tiny spark facing the bright moon in the sky.

Hahahaha! The heroes of this world are as numerous as carp swimming upstream. Great, just great! Why bother working hard? I'll join the demonic path!
