Synopsis

A fan-fiction spin-off of A Journey to Love, with a rewritten ending.

Ren Ruyi, former Left Envoy of the Zhu Kingdom’s Vermilion Guard, crossed paths by chance with Ning Yuanzhou, head of the Six Paths Hall in the Wu Kingdom. Along with Qian Zhao, Yu Shisan, Yuan Lu, Sun Lang, and others, they formed an envoy team and worked to keep the peace between An and Wu. They endured life and death together and brought Emperor Wu back to his country. But Yang Ying, the “Princess of Licheng,” had her identity exposed and was trapped in the An Kingdom’s palace, while Ruyi was gravely wounded and fell into the hands of the Vermilion Guard…

Poor souls, along the miles of mountain roads, year after year the autumn grass grows thick over the bones of the fallen…

Above the mountains, a song seems to drift: “The day wanes…the day wanes…why not return?”

Let this be a dream of the mountains in a parallel world, and let us write a new ending for this band of heroes.
