A Mother's Regret: Mom, I Was Wrong

My teenage rebellion disappointed my mother.

My father’s laziness deepened her sorrow.

My grandmother’s furious scolding drove my mother to the edge.

And then my words, “I hate you!” made her lose all hope in life!

Yet I was both unlucky and fortunate.

After spending half my life scraping by like an ant,

one rainy night

brought me back to the day Mom jumped from the building...

I screamed at her through my heartbreak:

“Mom, I was wrong!”
