"Selected Works", also known as "Selected Works of Zhaoming", is the earliest extant collection of poems and essays in China. It was compiled and selected by literati Xiao Tong, the eldest son of Emperor Liang Wu of the Southern Dynasty.

The book "Selected Literature" is rich in content and covers many excellent literary works. Its writing style is rigorous and its prose is smooth. I especially like some excerpts in it, such as Zhang Pingzi's "Ode to Xijing", which has gorgeous vocabulary and is catchy to read. Moreover, by reading this book, I also learned a lot of historical and cultural knowledge and benefited a lot. All in all, I think this is a book well worth reading.
