"Li Sao" is indeed Qu Yuan's masterpiece. The image of Qu Yuan is so vividly portrayed in the poem. His noble character and persistent pursuit of ideals are really admirable. Just like Odysseus in "Homer's Epic", he goes through hardships but never gives up, which makes people feel particularly inspirational. This book is somewhat similar to the Book of Songs, both classics of ancient literature. However, "Li Sao" has a more sad, indignant and desolate feeling, which makes people feel full of emotions when reading it.
