"Sanshui Xiaoshu", a collection of legendary novels. Written by Huangfu Mei in the late Tang Dynasty. The original three volumes, the current two volumes. The "Sanshui Xiaoshu" records anecdotes from the late Tang Dynasty, some of which have a mysterious and magical flavor. Famous chapters such as "The Legend of Flying Smoke" are tragic and moving stories that once stood on their own. Others, such as "Wang Zhigu", describe the arrogance and cruelty of the feudal general Zhang Zhifang from one side; "Que Yao" describes the wit and shrewdness of the slave girl and the shameless debauchery of the noble family's children; "Yu Xuanji" describes the ferocity and violence of the female Taoist Yu Xuanji, and the characters are quite individual. The text is occasionally interspersed with some poetic parallelism, and the diction is gorgeous, which is more distinctive in novels of the late Tang Dynasty.
