I Kill Demons at the Orphanage

“Beria, I don't care if you kill gods, but killing my dad is going a bit too far.”

“Ha, Lucifer, what a dutiful son you are! Don't forget, you're the King of Demons!”

On the Blue Star battlefield in 1999, Beria, newly ascended to godhood, mounted the heads of six chief gods on flagpoles: Odin, chief god of the Norse pantheon; Zeus, chief god of the Greek pantheon; Jesus, chief god of Christianity; and others.

“King? Let whoever wants the job take it. The important thing is that you can't destroy Blue Star.”

After saying that, Lucifer pulled out the Tears of Jesus. He squeezed it in his hand, and a flash of white light instantly turned all the demons back into their original spirits.

“Did I... turn into a spirit too?”

“King Lucifer, your body is protected by my Lord. However, when you are reborn, you will become a human baby, and your strength and memories will be sealed. Please choose where you would like to be reborn.”

“Which country performed best in the Battle of Blue Star?”

“According to our assessment, one country had no gods, yet its mortals performed the miracle of chopping demons down with broad-bladed swords.”

“Good! That's where I'm going!”
